Here’s a painting of the Goosenecks at Capitol Reef, one of a string of parks along with Zion, Bryce and Monument Valley. At the Goosenecks an ancient river lies at the bottom of a deep canyon, twisting back and forth. It makes you feel the age of the rocks.
Wow, is that Southern Utah landscape spectacular. I’d happily spend years painting there.
